Q. Who can order from Jersey Family Food Kitchen?

A. Anyone can order from us

Q. What makes Jersey Family Food Kitchen different from other companies?

A. We give you the option of not having to go shopping, we do all the prep, so you don’t have to.

We can also deliver to you, eggs from Hamptonne Farm and Jersey Dairy Milk & cream.

We can also supply Vegetables to order.

Q. Is this a plan or is this a dip in and dip out?

A. Dip in and out there are no subscriptions at all you choose when and what you order.

Q. How do you order?

A. To order, simply email orders@jerseyfamilyfoodkitchen.com giving us your order and letting us know

of any allergies that maybe relevant to you. your address and post code for delivery and what day

you would like your order for.

We will confirm your order by email and then prepare it for that day and send it out for delivery.

Q. Delivery Days – When do you deliver?

A. We deliver Tuesday to Friday so if you would like to eat your goodies on the

weekend then get a delivery date for Friday as the majority of our menu will last a few days in the fridge.

Some food can be frozen, any that can’t will be clearly labeled.

Q. Do you make different sizes of meals for Families, Couples ect?

A. All our meals are quoted as per serving. We do family size dishes as well.

Q. Do you make bread, if so what type?

A. Yes, we hand make Sourdough, Focaccia, Soda Bread and Garlic Baguettes.

Q. Do you cater for family get together’s, BBQ’s and outside catering?

A. Yes, we do. We have a separate menu (Buffet and Picnics) for orders, please contact us,

so we can go through it with you.

Q. Ordering Times.

A. If you place your order early you get to be first one the list before we reach capacity.

With regards to bread we need at least 24 hours’ notice as it must prove etc.

We do get booked up so, please try to get your order in at the weekend.

Q. Do You make family traditional Cakes?

A. Yes we do,we can also cater for people who wish to have family cakes made.

Large family size apple pie is a firm favourite!

Q. Can I choose from each menu?

A. Yes you can, all menus are a la Carte you can mix and match.

Q. What if I am out?

A. We ask our clients to leave an Insulated Bag with an ice block inside.

We can deliver nearer to the time you are home.

(This is not available to all addresses and only at certain times of the day)

Q. Do you make Vegetarian Meals?

A. Yes, we have a full vegetarian menu as well as a special vegetarian dish each week.

If you are Vegan we can cater for that also.

Q. How long do the dishes last in the Fridge?

A. The food is made to order they are not defrosted meals. They are made fresh each day.

They last a good 3 to 4 days in the fridge. If you wish to order for the weekend, please place

your order on the Thursday morning for a Friday delivery. We do not deliver or cook on a

Saturday or Sunday unless it is an outside catering order.

Q. What do the meals come in?

A. Most of our dishes come in aluminum trays or recycles cardboard containers.

If you would like to use your own dishes are happy to collect them before your next order.

Q. Can they be frozen?

A. Yes, the majority can, but we do label the dishes that do not defrost to the best appearance.

Q. Do they come with cooking times and temperatures.

A. Yes, each dish is fully labelled.

Q. What are the difference in the menus?

A. Classic Menu, Veggie, Bread and Cakes stay the same with the Weekly Specials

changing every week we post it on social media and our website on the Wednesday/

Thursday for the following week. We get booked up fast so please try to get your order in at the

weekend.

Q. Are your dishes allergen free?

A. Our Kitchen cannot guarantee that meals are free from allergen traces.
